The Box

The Pandora Syndrome. Also known as "Curiosity killed the cat".
And we humans are very, very curious. We propably cannot help it.
We wish to know everything. If there is something that we can know about,
by performing a seemingly harmless action, we will do so, propably never
thinking about the actual (unforseen) consequences. We are deeply attracted
by the fact that there is something that we don't know, but we can find out.
The Box represents just that; you don't know what's in the Box, but you
can find out, perhaps it's just too easy to be painless. However, the Box
is not just an object. It is also a symbol. It represents people, situations
and most of all, life itself. We all want to know who people really are, why
things are happening, and what life is all about. In a not so strange fashion,
we are certainly not going to like what's in the Box. In fact, we will propably
wish that we had never opened the Box. Never before had 3 single letters
described life so finely.
